i'm a pixel here, myself

Probably unpopular fandom opinion, version popslash:

The eponymous album *NSYNC is by far the best of the four albums the group released in the US, simply with respect to repeat listenability, actual song character, and overall enjoyment. The eponymous European album 'N Sync is even better, because it lacks the horrendous glob of tripe that is GMHSALMTOY and includes "Riddle" and "More Than A Feeling". And all the dance-beat music is fantastic for the gym.

I tried re-listening to Celebrity the other day and couldn't make it past "Pop". There's some really awful music and lyrics there -- at the time, it disguised itself well as novelty, but with distance comes the realization that much of Celebrity is crap. No Strings Attached is a little of both, for better or worse.

a. I just... I give up. You know? I thought this was going to be mostly painless and instead it's like running into a brick wall. Argh.

b. Thank whatever diety might be listening that it's Friday, because even two days of work, after two weeks of nothing, is next-to-impossible. Especially with the scheduling nightmare that is grant-writing season. It almost makes me want to take up drinking.

c. The gym is closed until Monday, which pisses me off -- that's three weeks running now that I haven't been able to go, and all because the students aren't here. I'M HERE AND I HAVE NEEDS. AND HOLIDAY FOOD WEIGHT THAT NEEDS TO BE LOST. ::shakes fist::

d. I have now received spam advertising country club memberships. The mind boggles.

e. I have read lots of things recently, but have sucked at giving feedback. I have to do that this weekend, because some of the things I've read and not feedbacked were written for me! Clearly I am the suckiest of all beings.

f. I hate everything and everyone and I don't know why. Can it hurry up and be spring summer? Winter here is a cool, rainy spell that lasts 5 months. There is no spring, so let's skip right to 75 and sunny, mmkay?

I got nothing else, but it's Friday so that doesn't matter.
