a. Insert some whining about not getting to see tonight's Supernatural, plus some exhortations to myself to be strong and not read spoilers. That's pretty much what would go here, in a longer, more drawn-out kind of way, if I were feeling more self-indulgent right now.

b. So, the thing about conference calls? Is that they're only interesting if you have something to say. The end result of the call? I'm supposed to keep doing what I'm doing and we'll all talk again later. Right. Good use of an hour, that.

c. Trying to find a ride home for tonight. This is when I email all kinds of random people from the chorus who live within, say, a fifteen mile radius of me and say "PLEASE TAKE ME HOOOOME!" (and not in *that* way. eww.) in a pitiful and lowly enough voice that they agree out of shame. It's worked so far; we shall see if it continues to do so.

ETA d. LJ is acting weird again. Three different kinds of errors in under a minute. This is a lot like it was way back in '01 when those of us with free accounts kept seeing "cannot find server" because of the overload.

Am torrenting now. God bless obsessed SPN fans! Also: I love you all for cutting your spoilery posts. The real question now is whether to stay up until the torrent is finished, or whether to go to bed early and wake up early to watch it. Probably neither will happen, and I won't get to it until on the train Thursday (ack!) because tomorrow E is coming over and we're watching American Idol. I may have to stay up late *tomorrow* and watch it.

Of course, I'm not obsessed enough to quit my chorus over this conflict. I do, however, miss out on squeeing with the rest of the fandom.
