i'm a pixel here, myself

Working from home today, for a variety of reasons, and it seems I can't submit jobs. Oops. Stupid technology. I could do it last week! So it turns out today I'll be coding a lot of things that I won't be running until I go back in to the office on Monday.

Also known as "reading and drinking tea and occasionally typing some stuff".

Time to start making lunch. Oh, and my grocery list for this weekend.

It looks like I'm going to owe money on my taxes this year instead of getting money back. I hate pretty much everyone in power in the government; remind me why I need to pay them? Grr.

Being an adult? Not so much fun. Hmph.

I'm the son of an accountant. Yes, I know that having to pay taxes at the end of the year means not enough was withheld from my paycheck during the year, and that means I had more access to, and flexibility with, my money. But a good number of you lot are going to get refunds (meaning you overpaid) and that's making me grumpy. Also, see above re: government.

Tonight we had a blind chocolate tasting. Two categories: milk and semisweet/dark. 9 in the first category, 12 in the second. Next week we tackle bittersweet and oddities (hazelnut, filled, etc.), so I have 10 chocolate bars on my desk.

My stomach is going "OW, BITCH" but my taste buds are in *heaven*.
