Happy Mid-February Day!
That's my rallying cry today, being single and all. For the Supernaturally inclined among you,
stone_princess has a wonderful picspam of Jared and Jensen (not together, sadly) being all hotass that I suggest you check out as a present to yourself. Oh yes. More hot pictures of The Ackles and/or The Padalecki would be much appreciated on this day of sap.
Since my voice has not been cooperating recently, I ducked out of rehearsal last night and tonight, and will probably do the same thing Thursday -- I feel fine, but my voice is slow to recover from this really nasty cold, and resting it is probably the best thing. Of course, this makes me feel like a huge loser, since the rehearsal I'm skipping tonight is my *only* Symphony rehearsal in February, but whatever. Instead, I get to go to the gym and watch American Idol and Supernatural.
I just got an email from J, a friend of mine from *way* back, asking for my mailing address so she can send me a wedding invitation. Since it's so close to Christmas I may have to decline -- she's getting married in New York on December 16th, and I'll need to fly home somewhere around the 21st or 22nd -- due to the sheer number of vacation days I'd have to take and the amount of time I'd spend on planes. Of course, I can take JetBlue to NYC, which would be nice. I could also see friends out there before hopping a plane to Baltimore for Christmas and coming back out here shortly thereafter. That could work. Hmm. ::ponders:: It's just that I'd have to take something like eight vacation days. This requires much advance planning.
Things I would like today: conversation hearts (check), time to finish reading through
bubosquared's massive epic of hugeness (maybe check), no work on my plate (mostly check), a puppy (definitely not check). Somebody get on that, will you?
