Let me tell you that it's a very surreal experience to go right from chatting about RPS (and plotting a not-so-seekrit project) to singing "blessed are the dead who die in the Lord" (selig sind die Toten die in dem Herren sterben). Rehearsal felt long even though it was shorter than usual. We have performances tomorrow and Saturday and then I have to think about whether or not it's worth the schedule-juggling to sing with this group again for their next piece. I love the piece (Mozart Requiem) and have sung it some half-dozen times, but I'd miss a *lot* of rehearsals due to SFSC stuff.
Thank you to everyone who's left me feedback on highschoolery so far; it's great to have a story I like writing and that I feel no compulsion to end. It'll be over when it's over, and I know in general how I want it to end, but getting there will be the fun part.
