Okay, I knew what I wanted the next part to say, but I didn't know it would come out *this fast*. Eesh. Thank my bosses for giving me easy stuff to do this morning and afternoon. I felt slightly dirty writing this at work, but hey, I have an office so I have my privacy.

This one's smutty, folks.

Okay, so what's up with Gmail recently? I swear, in the past month or so I've had as many "server error" pages as I had in my first *year and a half* with it! I'm all for good free technology, but I want good free technology that *works*.

From the "you can't make this shit up" department, tonight's SFSC notes contained the following passage:
ADDED PERFORMANCES -- HOW'S YOUR ELVISH?: The Symphony and Chorus will perform musical excerpts from the movie, Lord of the Rings, July 14 and 15. This is part of a package deal that includes the screening of still shots from the film. It has been performed to sold-out houses across the country for several years. We need at least 80 choristers to participate. You must be able to speak, uh..., er... Elvish, the language of the Elves. Okay, so you'll learn a new language!

(btw, a giant [sic] on all of that)

Guess what I've been rereading for the past week or so? It's like they're in my head. And given the contents of my head recently, that may not be such a good thing.

Am I going to do it? Probably; the dates fit *perfectly* around things I'm already signed up for. I have to let them know by April 4, so I have some time to think about it. But. SINGING IN ELVISH. WITH THE SFSC. What. The. Fuck.

Since I had rehearsal, I missed American Idol, but I returned home to an email from FRE: As I type, Kevin Covais is singing "Part-time Lover." This show has reached a new high. They cannot make this stuff up.

Seriously? "Part-Time Lover"? Welcome to everything wrong with the show: Kevin is sixteen and probably has zero *dating* experience, much less part-time-lover-ing experience (leaving aside the student-of-Mary-Kay-Letourneau shit, please).

As soon as I'm up, I plan to search for a torrent (it's not up now). This? Is comedy GOLD.
