i'm a pixel here, myself

Shorter me tomorrow: blah blah blah planecakes.

I'm just now finishing a load of laundry (argh, no sleep until 1:30 or later, bad Drew!), but I'm almost done packing, so that's good. Tomorrow I work a half day, then FRE takes me to the airport. I fly through Dallas, which has me irrationally excited (no, self, you will NOT see Jensen in the airport, and even if you do you're too polite to ask him for anything), and the prospect of writing Texan boy porn *in* Texas is doing a lot to combat my blinding hatred of the state.

I will be in the Philadelphia area from very late Wednesday night to mid-day Sunday, and while I will have 'net access and such I will be visiting with friends, singing a concert, and generally running around the Philly 'burbs in the springtime, so I probably will not check email as obsessively often as I usually do.

And yes, I'm just obsessed enough that even what with seeing friends I haven't seen in over a year, I will probably do my best to see Supernatural.

winterlive and company have been busy like the proverbial bees. [The Lawrence Awards] (presumably named for Lawrence, KS) are fandom awards for Supernatural. With awards, part of me goes "oh dear, another popularity contest" (with the unspoken "that I could never win in a million years"), part of me goes "eee, concentrated fic recs!", and in this particular case part of me goes "...but they're not even done with the first season yet!" But I digress -- go check out the website, make note of the deadlines, nomination rules, etc. It looks exciting!

Since RPS is not eligible, I only have two eligible stories: [Rear View] and [One Kind And Another] (my Remix). Personally, I don't think either is really worth a nomination, so I'll be on the sidelines of this awards set and maybe hope to write something for the next one. They're doing a RPS set sometime this winter, which means I'm going to have to finish highschoolery by then if it's going to get considered. No perpetually-open-ended AUs here!

I swear I had something more insightful to say about that, but I got nothing.
