Hey, look, this is my 2,100th entry! Which works out to roughly 1.18 posts per day since I've had this thing.

Okay, statistics out of the way, today is going to SUCK. Consider:

went to bed early, as was feeling icky

woke up with sore throat; still icky

rode in to work in sputtering rain

will work for next eight hours

rehearsal means leaving the house 30 minutes after I get home

regular ride home from rehearsal emailed me to say "oops, can't give you a ride"

Somebody'd better post some really fucking amazing porn today, you hear me? Consider that an order.

the woes of executive decision-making

So I decided that with the horriffic transportation mess that was awaiting me, plus my scratchy throat, that I would call in sick to rehearsal, and have done so. That means I get to watch Idol tonight (um, they're butchering Queen songs, FUN!) and generally try to relax. What's extra-good about this is that if I have to miss two other rehearsals and have to sing a part check on this, *I already know the piece*. HUGE weight off my shoulders.

In celebration: a meme! Seen pretty much everywhere.

1) Make a list of 15 characters first, and keep it to yourself for the moment. (That way you're not leading the questions asked to fit the characters.)

2) Ask your flist to post questions in the comments.

For example:
"4, 6, 12 & 15 are starting a band together, what is their name and what kind of music do they play? Also, who's the lead singer, and what instruments do the others play?"

3) After your flist has asked enough questions, round them up and answer them using the 15 characters you selected beforehand, and then post them.

I'm not doing the "who's my fandom lover?" one because we all know it's Sam. Or Jsquared in RPS (yes, I get them BOTH -- SHUT UP).

[Nothing but April showers on the horizon]

This is predicted to be the wettest April on record in the Bay Area, and, lucky me, it'll be my last without a car. Funny, how things work against you like that. We're looking at rain at least through Thursday, and probably Friday as well, plus whatever happens the rest of the month. Have I mentioned that I'm sick of rain by now?
