I have my performance review in an hour and fifteen minutes. Ugh. Good vibes would be most appreciated. I never know what to say in these things.

Performance review went fine. I was rated "fully competent" in all areas and "exceeds expectations" in communication, teamwork, adaptability, and health & safety compliance (whatever *that* means) in addition to the four job-specific goals my bosses had for me. Their main goal for me is to see me increase my independence and structure the tasks I'm given on my own, but they'd also like to see me doing analysis in my emails so they could use that as part of the manuscripts.

All in all, a very decent review. So why am I shaking? I am *not* a bundle of nerves, usually. And around others, I would never react like that. But when I got in my office alone, I spent five minutes just shaking. WEIRD.

Also, they asked what my future goald were, and basically told me they can't guarantee my position to last longer than next spring. I told them I've been thinking about grad school and also about moving to the city, and one of my bosses is apparently *very* well-connected and could help me land a job in the city, easy. So that's a relief.

For the Photoshop-inclined:

[Make your photos look like miniature models] -- how to make your photos look like they're actually of miniatures. The results are quite cool!

I'll stop spamming as soon as work gets a little more interesting. OH WAIT.
