It is shortly after 1am. Besides cleaning, I got very little done today, and had approximately zero free time. I have a lot of comments in my inbox, as well as actual email from people. I will get to it, I promise.

However.

When I said I would go back and read the stories I've been missing for the past couple weeks? That's just not going to happen; I'm too swamped with things I have to do, things I *think* I have to do, things I have to think about, things I have to write, etc. that I'm just not going to be able to make a comprehensive read. Therefore, please comment to this post with stories from the past three or four weeks that you think I should read (yes, Brenda, I will read the third high school thingy) and I will try to do so.

Also, for anyone who's sent me questions: I'm saving them for times of boredom at work -- it always helps to have something like that to do.

The roommate told me he'd be having people over on Sunday. No big deal, right? I still have to clean my bathroom floor and do laundry, but those are both in-my-room things, and I can deal with a dozen well-behaved people in the living room. Which they totally are -- well-behaved, that is. But he did NOT tell me that they'd be here before 9. And if they spill anything on the carpet I will cry and cry and cry.

(AHAHAHAHA they're talking about using Meyers-Briggs personality types to facilitate converstation. HEE.)

So now I'm up and doing things, I guess. It'll help me get a jump on the things I have to do today; I hope to finish the apartment-y things before 2 or 3; FRE and i can go watch a movie or something, just to get me out of the apartment.

I wonder if it's totally tactless to cook while they're here. I do need to make soup, since I have rehearsal or performance four out of the next five days. Hmm.

Tomorrow kicks off a week in which I have one night free. ONE. Two rehearsals, two performances, one night free, and a day of what amounts to community service next Saturday because friends of mine are helping out. ::headdesk:: Wake me when it's over? (yes, this means the next part of highschoolery will be delayed. I've been extremely busy!)

To get away from the apartment full of Roommate J's coworkers, FRE and I went to see Stick It, which was fun and heartwarming as it should have been, but spoilers ). Overall: not as funny as Bring It On, and not nearly gay enough.

Then FRE and I went to Old Navy where I got some new shorts and some "nice" t-shirts for work (and oh god, why are their new cargo shorts so stupid? I had to get some because I'm now addicted to cargo pockets, but the new ones suck!), and then FRE gave me some tomato plants she bought (at a dollar apiece!) so I'll have tomatoes this summer in addition to my basil and rosemary. I may also try oregano, but I've had a devil of a time finding oregano seeds. I love growing herbs (nothing beats fresh herbs in bread), and the weather here is just perfect for it -- I hope the tomatoes do well, too.

Now it's 8:30 and the roommate is playing video games and planning to go out soon, so I'll be able to take over the TV. Until then I will answer email and comments, and possibly write some. When did I become such a busy person? I feel like I used to lay around and do nothing all day!

So it turns out [Mayhem is too old to go to his fiancée's prom].

I don't think I have any commentary to pass on that; it speaks for itself.
