Upstairs Boss sent me a couple emails last night saying "how did you generate the full sample population for these analysis runs?" I got them this morning and was able to answer one right off the bat, but the other? Pertains to work I did six months ago. I have a pretty good idea how I did it, and I wrote him back with that theory (um, stripped of the "I think" language I *was* going to couch it in), but if that turns out to be wrong or suspicious? I can't find the code used to generate the dataset. I have the dataset, but I will have to re-write the code using only the dataset as a guide. ::crosses fingers::

I have *got* to start getting more sleep. Recently, I find myself staring at the clock all day. How can it be only 11:15? In five minutes I'm sure I'll say the same thing. Caffeine is not the answer -- it doesn't keep me awake; it just prevents me from falling asleep. If you don't know the difference between the two, clearly you've never had insomnia.
