Santa Cruz was nice; I hung out with A and her family, and had lunch on the wharf. We also walked along the beach and in the water (A's family lives about a block from the beach), but I was disappointed in the surfers I saw; nary a cute wetsuit-clad boy among them -- it was mostly college-age girls and dumpy older men. Huh.
I made a wrong turn coming home from Santa Cruz and saw an Adopt-a-Highway sign labeled "BUNNY". I immediately thought of our resident [lagomorph], but she lives a good four hours away!
The Advil I took twenty minutes ago have not kicked in yet. OW, MY HEAD. Also, my ouchy head and some wonkiness in my eyes over the past couple days means I haven't written anything because I can't focus on the computer long enough to write anything that requires me getting in a certain mindset. ::grump::
I think I will attempt to begin a sourdough starter, and then take a nap.
