I thought I'd had this discussion with myself: go to bed at or just after midnight. Not too complicated, right? Sleep last night was at nearly 3am. And me with a show tonight! Why, you ask? ( there can be only one answer ) Anyway, as a result, I had about five hours of sleep, and want to do nothing more than slide between the sheets again.
In happier news, the Lord of the Rings symphony rehearsal last night was pretty good -- the piece has six movements, two from each movie, and there are definite themes I recognized: the hobbit theme from the beginning, the travelling theme with the really awesome horn line, the elves' prayer to Elbereth. It will be good to hear this with orchestra, as our scores are vocal-only, without even a piano reduction to tell us what's going on. Pity, then, that our first rehearsal with orchestra isn't until the night before the show. ::headdesk::
For sanity reasons, among other things, I'm going to go stare at the [pictures of Jensen in Flaunt] again.
