The Lord of the Rings symphony is done now, so I'm finally free! ...to do all the things I've been postponing during concert season. D'oh! The shows themselves were fine, if a bit long (it runs about two and a half hours with intermission). It's a bittersweet end for me, since I'm not singing with the SFSC next season (maybe the following one, but not next season) for a couple reasons that I won't bother to list. I admit, it's going to be hard not having a group that phenomenal to sing with next season, but I think that the additional free time will be very nice, especially with the upcoming job and housing changes, and there's my hope of getting to do musical theater, since I haven't in a very long time. We shall see what the future holds; for now I plan to sleep away the month of August.
