i'm a pixel here, myself

So since FRE is moving out of the country, we figured it might be finally time to get her name off the phone bill for my apartment (because Roommate J has procrastinated to astonishing new heights and never bothered to put it in his name, the bastard) so we took care of that yesterday -- but it means that my internet is going to conk out on august 2, for at least two days, until I can sign up again. Fortunately, I'll get the new subscriber rate, but it's more than kind of annoying, since we're looking at more like five or six days' worth of outage while they mail me the self-install modem package, etc. This is the time when I covet popfantastic's icon: "we don't care; we don't have to; we're the phone company".

Also, I need to start roommate hunting NOW, because J moves out August 1. Ten days is enough time to find a roommate, but man, am I not anxious to start that process. I think I'm going to have to clear as much time in the next week as possible so I can meet with potential roommates. Damnation.

I've been extremely nonfannish recently; my energy seems to be going to other things. Which, really, I thought that the end of concert season was going to *stop*, but apparently not. If I disappear for a while, it's because I don't have anything to say, not because I don't like you all. ♥

The air conditioning at work is broken. Oh god.
