I am thrilled to see my flist freaking out (in a good way) about their shiny new SPN DVDs. I probably won't get mine until Christmas. Money's not really the issue; it's just that I can't justify spending forty bucks for something I effectively already have and don't use. "But the extras!" I hear you cry. Here's the thing: I have a tendency to buy extra-laden DVDs... and then they do nothing but sit on my bookshelf. So I don't do it anymore. But I do love watching everyone going fannishly bonkers over things like boys being boys :)

DMV appointment this Friday, after which the car will officially be in my name. I now own a CAR, people. I mean, not that I haven't owned half of one since FRE and I bought it, but. Since she's gone, it's mine, now, with all the responsibilities that come with that. I will say, though, that it came in damn handy this long weekend, as the boy and I did a bunch of things together.

I'm not dead, I'm just... I don't know. My energy is going to different pursuits -- having a boy around is a huge time investment. How do y'all with significant others manage to stay up on LJ and fandom, too? I am finding it rather difficult. The next part of the phone sex AU is still sitting in my Drafts folder, unfinished. Maybe I can take a stab at that before the end of the week?
