i'm a pixel here, myself

In the holiday spirit, I'm posting my wishlist. I know some people have posted theirs, but I've been not-as-good-as-usual about memorying them to come back to and see if there's anything I can offer. If you posted a wishlist and would like me to see it, comment here with a link!

Here are the things I want this nondenominational holiday season:

1. My writing inspiration back. I kind of need this one sooner than later, as I've got that yuletide fic due...

2. Long, plotty Jsquared domesticity fic.

3. Recipes for your favorite foods -- help make them my favorites as well!

4. I'm not gonna lie; I really want [this t-shirt].

5. Good thoughts/vibes/prayers/whatever for the boy -- we may not be dating anymore, but he's still going through some rough stuff and I hate to see him in that situation.

6. Downstairs neighbors who don't fuck loudly at midnight. Okay, so this one might be inspired by current events. ::buys earplugs omg::

7. Music! The new (okay, *relatively* new) Dixie Chicks CD, (thanks, Bunny!) Kelly Clarkson's Thankful, and anything else you have that you think I might like.

8. Movies! Specifically, gay-themed ones. I like 'em with some humor and I generally don't like 'em to have *too* much painful drama (or be British, for some reason). Movies I liked: Trick, The Broken Hearts Club, Latter Days. Movies I didn't like: Get Real, Edge of Seventeen, Beautiful Thing.

9. Snow in Baltimore for Christmas (I ask for this every year and it never happens...) and good ski weather at Tahoe for New Year's!

10. A video converter that turns .avis into .mp4s for my iPod that doesn't end up with poorly-synced sound. Help! (thanks, Althea and Lana!)

Two weeks until I fly home. Only ten more workdays! I can do this.

Oh, and it turns out Channing Tatum is filming [The Battle in Seattle], about the Seattle WTO riots. He plays a cop, so he gets to wear ( riot gear ).

He also apparently appears ( shirtless and tattooed ).
