I got an email today from a woman who's a recruiter for a major healthcare company, telling me about a job opening. I read it, realized it was over my head, and sent her an email back saying "thank you kindly, but I think this is over my head. here is my resume, though, in case you have anything in that vein, but slightly less important." I got an email back from her saying "when are you free for a phone interview?" Do they just not teach reading comprehension anymore?
Yes, of *course* I'm going to talk to her. Will anything come of it? Probably not.
Then
starstillwonder posted a cap from The Covenant (which I *still* have not seen -- I downloaded a copy way back when it came out, but it was a shaky, dark cam version, and it's pretty unwatchable. for technical reasons, not for the reasons everyone else is saying!) and my brain leaked out my ears, because holy shit is that [a lot of pretty]. Who wants to find me a torrent for the DVD rip? And yes, FNL people, I know Taylor Kitsch is on your show, and yes, he's a whole lot of hotass, but while I can manage a movie for the hotass quotient, following a recurring series TV show of ANYTHING seems to be beyond me at the moment.
Here is some more "Jensen and Jared are just [friends]" stuff, which I was going to refer to as the "friends 'verse" before I realized that that is, in all likelihood, the actual universe we live in, and as such does not count as a "'verse" the way I would usually use the term -- that is, as "Alternate Universe" or AU. How does one refer to such a thing? Anyway. Not necessarily immediately after the previous one.
