First things first: I re-sent the email to my bosses that I sent last Sunday, the one telling them that March 9 is my last day (before my three weeks of vacation carry me through the end of the month) because I *still* have not heard from them about this. Here's hoping they don't get all bitchy about it. ::crosses fingers:: Oh, and the in-person interview with the company I've been going back-and-forth with isn't until NEXT week.

Last night was useful, but not particularly fun. I cleaned up my headshot, got flirted with by the woman at the photo processing place (who, um, did not have a filter between her brain and her mouth, and just said anything and everything she was thinking), got two copies just in case, and did laundry. I also apparently managed, between Sunday and now, to write 1,000 words about the Trohman-Wentzes. What am I *doing*? I'm putting one line in particular from last night behind a cut, because I kind of liked it, but it's not like my whole flist is FOB fans. So.

The other thing I'm working on in my total lack of free time is [livejournal.com profile] rpfremix. It's actually going to happen! The first post to the community will be the FAQ and signup post, so everybody keep an eye out for that. I'm sure I'll post about it a gazillion times and ask you all to pimp it out to your friends. Signups open this coming Monday! Go check out the community info for the timeline.

First rehearsal tonight. Eee!

Rehearsal was... kind of boring, actually. I wore my sexy new jeans Just In Case, and Hot Danceboy sat at my table, but he doesn't smile much, which is a shame, because he looks so cute when he smiles! He came in dressed to the faggy nines, with one of those little square backpacks, a Ben Sherman logo t-shirt, designer sneakers... the whole nine yards. And then after rehearsal he drove away in a brand-new Mercedes. 0.o He's not an i-banker or a lawyer, or he wouldn't have time for this... where's he getting the moolah? His boyfriend is a 33-year-old guy who works in marketing (I may have Myspaced him). The wanton display of excess! I can't get used to it. Especially since there was a guy seated at the next table over who told the stage manager he'd have to scrape up the $25 needed to rent his score. Such class differences in one show.

Anyway, all we did was go through some spiel about the show, artistry, the set, costumes, music, themes, blah blah blah façadecakes. We got measures for costumes, introduced ourselves, and read through the script. End of rehearsal. Yawn. Tomorrow we block the first 10-15 pages, including the first appearance of "Façade"; I'm really looking forward to starting this. In less-thrilling news, we don't start work on the music until next week. Ahh, well; I'll have to wow my castmates some other time. At least I have the score now, so I can go through and learn all the ensemble music!

Our rehearsal schedule is insane. Between now and May 13, I have 43 rehearsals and 13 shows. People, that's 56 rehearsals/shows in 76 days. What have I gotten myself into?
