Things that make me worried:
* the roommate is doing her taxes, at literally the last possible moment (she'll be in France for a week starting tomorrow night), and is generating lots of exasperation I can't help with
* I flubbed a lot of entrances and blocking in rehearsal tonight, plus my first lines as the priest
* my voice is getting harder to warm up; it's just reacting to the constant use, which is good as it gives me a warning flag to stop using it so damn much
Things that make me sad:
* I'm being really good and eating healthier and everything, and I'm not getting any skinnier
* my awesome new hotass jeans (best pair ever!) are giving me a rash on the inside of my thigh -- maybe a dye thing?
* my schedule prevents me from seeing my roommate very often
Things that make me happy:
* we've started working accents in rehearsal, and mine got complimented!
* the director worked with a bunch of us ensemble soloists to really start getting us in characters so we're not just standing-and-singing; this was really helpful because not only am I not a really great actor, but the solo line of mine we were working on had an octave-and-a-half range, and he spoke knowledgeably about that! He talked about tessitura and gave me some suggestions for making that wide-ranging phrase more believable *and* easier to sing.
* in the immortal words of Granny Weatherwax: I ate'nt dead
...it's possible that I'll stop rambling on about the show one of these days. Possible, but not likely, as it's the only thing in my life at the moment besides work.
