Though it occurred to me tonight: I really miss choral music, of which [this] is the purest example I can find. That moment when you get so caught up in the music that the sound just comes pouring out of you like you're just the conduit and it belongs to something greater than you. I don't get that with theater, because I'm too worried about characterization. But in a chorus, you just stand around in a tux and make fucking incredible music.
