i'm a pixel here, myself

I'm beginning to doubt my constant "not dead! really! honestly!" I mean, I've made I think three posts this whole month. That's gotta be a record low for me. Oof.

Anyway, here are some things:
• All of my shows are over except the a cappella concert I have on December 14 in the city. There are only three rehearsals and a retreat between now and then, and I don't know about half of the songs, but me being me, I will scrape by and nobody will be the wiser.
• Because of said a cappella concert (and rehearsals) I have to miss a work-related trip to see Cirque du Soleil. I am *so* annoyed by this.
• I am now an official employee with a Real Employee badge and everything. I had orientation on Monday and signed up to use the fitness center today (I get a gym again! yay!), and I've already purchased my company's products for Christmas gifts with my employee discount :)
• Work is particularly hellacious of late: my division is the online store, and it's holiday shopping time... it's a constant stream of "can you get me these numbers?" and my frantic ad hoc querying of our databases. Fun times. Of course, being busy beats being bored.
• Since the plays are over, I got a haircut! Four months overdue -- I hadn't had my hair cut since the end of May, I think. I also got new shoes and a Christmas tree. Hopefully I'll have a chance to decorate it soon.
• A cappella retreat this weekend! We're going up to Tahoe. I'm definitely bringing my computer in case we get snowed in....
• Thanksgiving was a huge success, and my out-of-town houseguests are now gone, so I occasionally have a minute or two to breathe now and then. Hence this update.

In short: life is good, but oh-so-hectic. PLEASE let me know if there's anything spectacular that I missed -- it has been WAY too long since I was able to read my friendslist.
