Hey, look, it's 10 and I just woke up. Well, not *just* -- I did wake up at 8 to write an email to my boss claiming to be sick. But then I went back to sleep, because when you're sick ( ::fake cough:: ) you need your rest.
Now I get to watch my downloaded SPN, comment on it, and then read all of your commentaries! I have some 40+ tabs open in Firefox because y'all are a chatty bunch.
Max wrote a comment to my last post asking if there was something non-writers could do for my birthday rather than participating in the [Birthday Echo Challenge Redux] (what, you thought I wouldn't mention it? ::pimps:: )
To that, I say: I love icons1 (see [mine] for what I generally go for) and I've been looking for Alec from Dark Angel and maybe a couple more that are explicitly Dean rather than just Jensen at photoshoots. Text-free is love, people.
I also like paid LJ time or paid icon space -- but for the love of god, please don't buy me a whole year unless you are independently wealthy, because then I will feel guilty. I also also like picspams because I love the pretty. Um. ::bites lip:: I also also also like recommendations for books -- now that the weather is nice again, walking to the library isn't such a chore, and I aim to do so more often. Generally, I like humorous fantasy (Pratchett is a favorite) and very little of "high" fantasy beyond The Lord of the Rings, but I enjoy well-crafted fiction of many types, so long as there's a happy ending (shut up, I'm a sap).
Basically? I'll probably love whatever it is. I'm easy when it comes to gifts, people. The mere act of someone choosing to get/make me something makes my face light up. :D
1 a note about icons: I'm kind of picky about them, so if you make some for me and I don't use them, please don't be offended!
