i'm a pixel here, myself

a. Dinner was lovely (best part of birthdays: getting others to buy you dinner), and talking with the fam was only mildly annoying. Good times! Plus, the mildly amusing card from my brother means he's possibly learning from my uncle, which would be *awesome* (my uncle picks the best cards *ever*).

b. Fandom rocks my socks for so many reasons, but especially for the number of people who have sent me happy birthday wishes. I love you guys. :D

c. Because I can't keep my yap shut about *anything*, it seems: ( some Buffy thoughts )

I'm sure I'll have more to say at some point in the future, when I've seen more.

d. Can anyone help me locate Angel torrents? I've managed to locate torrents for all of BtVS (s1-s7), but no full-season torrents for Angel. lovelypoet has kindly offered to loan me her Angel s1 DVDs, but if I'm going to do this thing, I'm going to do it all the way, so I'll need to find s2-s5 as well.

Cripes, that's 12 seasons of TV I'm committing to watch. Oh, fandom. You make me crazy!

So there's this show some of you may have heard of, Buffy the Vampire Slayer? Danny finally guilted me into downloading, and s1 just finished last night. I just mainlined 1.01 and 1.02 and I've gotta say: the acting gets better, yes? I mean, really.

That said, I think this one's a keeper, folks. Dammit. ::goes to download s2-s7:: Because, you know, I needed a new-to-me fandom. ::sigh:: Make with the recs, people. To answer Danny's question (whether I prefer Angel or Xander): it's a tie. How 'bout we just slash 'em together?
